Motor commutation is the process of switching current direction in a motor's windings to maintain continuous rotation and torque. It ensures that the magnetic fields inside the motor stay properly aligned with the rotor's position.
How Commutation Works
Electric motors rely on the interaction between magnetic fields and electric current to produce motion. For the motor to rotate smoothly:
